According to the Bible, God has an enemy. Because this enemy has set himself in complete and total opposition to God, he is completely and wholly evil, as opposed to God, who is completely and wholly good. Where did this enemy come from? If God created him, was he always evil? If not, then how and when did he become evil? What passages in the Bible seem to describe him, and what can we understand about God's chief enemy: the satan.
